They need to issue fines to people that don't evacuate.

So if someone can't afford to evacuate. Instead of helping a woman with child she should be fined?
-
I also feel that there should be public assistance to prevent excuses.

Can't say he's wrong. Look....I get it. You've got a baby and you feel like your options and finances may be limited. But that's why you ask for help. Not ride out the hurricane and put not only you and your baby's life in danger, but those of rescuers as well. This is Harvey 2.0

May be next time they should arrange some sort of transportation before the hurricane hits to move people who are too old, can't afford or don't have any place else to go. It will massively reduce their work and will reduce the risk of endangering themselves.

Just FYI some people registered with the prison can’t leave their homes in NC parole and probation. Alsp people with Pets and low income with no fuel money or hotel money... more prep need to be done to fix this so they all get to safe zones.

Puerto Rico, is why we asked you to leave, and here you are again. You just refuse to listen. Did it occur to you, some can't leave.

For the ones who didn’t evacuate, for whatever selfish reason, you are putting a lot of rescuers in danger. If they say evacuate, then do so. Things can be replaced but not lives.

Let's not judge Families, elderly, disabled etc If your living on a fixed income or paycheck 2 paycheck It's expensive 2 evacuate food, gas (if u have a car)
-
They have shelters. Shelters don’t charge you a hotel rate you know.
-
True shelters don't charge What do you do with your autistic child, & another with CP Neither can handle a shelter environment for days or weeks
-
They should have researched where they could go beforehand. It’s not like they are dumbfounded by what his needs would be. There are agencies that could have helped.
-
Most agencies don't provide for special needs children after They turn 18yr but still need 2 be cared for by parents I'm just trying 2 explain that some people had 2 stay home Not everyone could leave

Uhmmm ... what’s expensive? Gather your important belongings and go to the “free” shelters that were available!
