No offense, but why aren't they expected to do anything on their own?

Don’t blame people for not knowing part of their own history .... it is sad but there are some big holes in history classes in the school system and beyond

I blame it more on the lack of organization that your local government has at the time of the tragedy, and not to the president. His job was to listen what you had to say and send funds. You are the one not handling the situation properly.

It was the government of Puerto Rico's job to make sure their grid was up to standards. We all watched the massive recovery.

The logistics of it being an island with very little infrastructure to begin with did hamper prompt initially effective response. But to think it was all president Trumps fault is uninformed. Americans are slowly yes slowly rebuilding the failing pre hurricane economy

He had no interest in helping his people. Just making political points. The mayor too. The hats and t shirts made it while water bottles sit unused a year later. He is both corrupt ands inept.

they spent little money on http://repairs.It was our military that fixed piers and unloaded ships that came with supplies. The mayor hid supplies so she could blame the president. They found her hiding food and supplies in containers and a million water bottle by the airport
