        death sentence to 2,975 American Puerto Rican’s. You sat smiling and silent when the person who had their foot on our throats allowed to praise himself and state that Hurricane Maria was not as catastrophic as Hurricane Katrina, only 16 deaths. You again (2)

        statehood. Puerto Rico needed the governor of Puerto Rico to stand up to a president that recognizes Puerto Rican’s as second class citizens. The governor of Puerto Rico failed to serve as the voice for its citizens when the chance was there and needed it desperately. (5)

        You’re an island. Your infrastructure was falling apart. Your hospitals were completely unprepared. Your electrical grid was in shambles. The massive corruption on your island was crippling. FEMA did more for PR than it did for any other hurricane damaged area. Shame on you.

        It’s very possible that they had no way to distribute these themselves due to impassible roads and no vehicles. The army/navy have ways but they weren’t there in the numbers needed.
