Her treatment? FFS. The only person that didn't look like an entitled brat was her opponent. Her opponent happened to win..btw. Maybe we could talk about the first Japanese woman to win the US Open?

Yes! Let's talk about amazing young woman who won & then audience & her overly ingratiated opponent made her feel as if she should apologize for winning. She achieved an enormous life goal that few get the chance to ever attempt! Infuriating how Serena had to steal attention!

Serena Williams had a childish tantrum and was abusive of the rep. She deserved the sanctions she received.

This is not sexism or double standards. It is a celebrity demonstrating a “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!!” moment.

Very astute @cbs. Also: Keeping sexual assault perp Les Moonves in CBS corp family for another year resonates with women too. Please report. Thank you, in advance, on behalf of all your women employees-from 18 to 80 yo., past, present and future.

In what way, that Serena tried to use her power and influence to get away with cheating and a penalty while belittling another woman or dobwe only stand up for those who are popular and sport the Nike logo?

No. It resonates with sore losers that throw tantrums when they're down and losing against a stronger opponent. Serena Williams should be embarrassed for her behavior. Lack of sportsmanship on an epic scale.

Nope, not with this woman. Serena’s childish tantrums open her up to the consequences of bad behavior. If she doesn’t like a call, say so, but then play by the rules and accept what the judges say. Tantrums weren’t cute with McEnroe and they’re not cute now.
