Absolutely she should. Not manslaughter, dude was in his own home! I understand she was exhausted and stressed and thought it was her place but he is now d.e.a.d. because he was chilling at home!

How did she get into his locked apartment? Why didn't she not realize the layout or furniture wasn't hers. Why she didn't ask questions. IT GOT SO MUCH MORE TO THE STORY. Possible lovers, a breakup, racism, her on drugs or just evil.

I think the charge MAY be too low. I would like the prosecutor to reevaluate. Walking into someones house by accident and shooting them? Seems more there....
-
I can expand on my point. For example, when you go into someone elses house it is pretty obvious furnishings smells etc are completely different. Further, why would your first instinct be to shoot when you could warn. Doesn't make sense. Truly horrific crime....

Should be 2nd degree murder. This isn’t a car accident.. she shot a man in his home..
-
Second degree murder requires malicious intent. The prosecutors nailed this - its voluntary manslaughter. She intentionally killed someone without malice or premeditation, but out of fear. It's a sad story all around

Because she thought he was an invader in her home. She got off of a 14 hour shift and stumbled up to the wrong door. After a long day of being in danger she was on edge. She is liable for his death, of course, but it's no less sad on her end. It was an accident.
-
She should go to prison for a long time, I'm not saying otherwise. She took an innocent mans life. But she didn't do it because she was a "bitch" she did it because she was scared and confused - and it's a mistake that cost one life and destroyed many others including hers.

Manslaughter, so she can walk after 18 months. This bitch shot a man in cold blood and this all she http://gets.How could she not draw down when she heard him coming to the door. lf it was locked, she knew he had to unlock it. This is bullshit, getting away with murder
