Wouldn’t that mean they aren’t “middle class”? Perhaps the middle class no longer exists and it’s just the haves and have nots

"middle class" has always been a meaningless term used to keep people from realizing we're working class (or proletarian).
-
We, the plebs, shall eat the rich and set fire to their gilded chariots and their castles of diamond and gold.
-
Fuck the chariots and castles. Set fire to the bankers. Hang the capitalists. Cull the rich in their sleep. Not even their children shall be spared. Guillotine them all.
-
Please just let me be poetic. We'll need poetry to rally the troops when we gut the rich. And their children too, apparently.

@CNNPolitics@GOP@TheDemocrats@USSenate@MSNBC Congress gave itself 15 raises and during the same period voted down raising the minimum wage 7 times. In simple terms the tax payers are subsidizing corporations paying low wages. - 1 more reply

*whispers* they’re clearly not middle class if they need food stamps bc their wages are insufficient to allow them to buy food

I think that means that there isn't a middle class. There are a lot of people who no longer make more than 2x the poverty line.

I want to see an analysis of what is considered middle class in 2018 and how those numbers compare to 40 years ago as well how that percentage of population that is middle class has changed.

Pssssst. Pretty sure if they’re on federal assistance you can’t call them “middle class”. Or have we gone ahead and lowered the bar to that level?

Poverty "starts" at 12k a year (for a single person). A family of 4 isnt impoverished legally if they make more than 25.1k... Disgusting.pic.twitter.com/rjHpsoSGvB
