Voting for the person used to be ok. Even sensible. Not anymore. The GOP has become so ugly and cruel - so complicit in the brokenness across America - that I will do everything in my power to vote Blue.pic.twitter.com/SKtXq20tZF

I always stayed center and whoever I thought would be right for the position got my vote but not anymore. He'll spit out the worst kind of trash that we all need to push for BLUE. What a world this has become.
In an ideal situation this would be fine.
Unfortunately, in order to rid ourselves of the cancerous growth in the @GOP administration, we need to do our best to get the Republicans out of the House and the Senate.
I agree in principle BUT the party does matter, it matters a lot particularly if a party is represented by a large number of people who support someone like Donald Trump. I can never again see myself voting Republican for that very reason. I am not alone.
Well, bless my soul! Look who forgot he was a Republican!
Nope...voting for the best policy and agenda for me.
Nope. Not when the @GOP "person" is going to side with tRump and or party 98.9% of the time once they are elected.
Then you don’t vote for that “person” just because they are affiliated with the party you may be affiliated with- that’s what he’s saying. He’s saying it’s ok to be republican and vote democrat and vice versa- vote for who is BEST even if it means breaking from party 4 that
John I respectfully disagree! Our country is showing more signs of extremes and especially with trump in the White House. To vote outside of the Democratic Party at this point wud be suicide!
I have always voted for the person that most reflects my values and opinions. My ballot has always been a mix of Democrat, Republican, Independent, and write-in candidates. However, that changes this year. I am voting straight Democrat...all the way.
I feel ya. I’ve voted mixed as well. But it’s harder now- because GOP candidates will kiss 45s arse for votes. Just look at spineless @tedcruz who is now bowing down to 45 because he needs him to rally for him because he otherwise can’t beat his opponent. He’s so weak!!!!!
I used to be center left.Voted McCain 2008.Would likely voted Kasich over Hillary. The only Republican getting my vote November is Governor Baker who serves his constituents not a party that has enabled Trump to destroy everything our country has always stood for. Blue wave
Exactly there with you brother. Voted McCain in 08, Obama in 12, and would have voted Kasich over HRC in 16. Never again though... the rise of Trumpism in the GOP has unapologetically revealed their true selves. GOP has proven themselves to be nothing more than corrupt cowards.
Liberals I believe should give John Kasich a listen if you haven't already. So far the only voice of reason coming from the Republican Party and deserves to be heard.
I am liberal & I wanted to vote for him. At the debate when he turned to Cruz, Rubio, & Trump, & w/a look of pure disgust & called them out on talking about their penis size while debating 4 the Oval Office I yelled ‘Hello Mr. President’ I was disappointed he was not an option.
Too many people beholden to a letter.
