Somehow I feel if she had been killed by a shooter they would be crusading for gun control. Or if it was a drunk driver hit and run, they would be asking for stricter DUI laws. List could go on. But if it's illegal immigaration, please let it slide.

I agree! Just trying to make a point. The mainstream media, CNN, MSNBC, etc... dont talk about this, but every shooting is politicized to the max, usually starting the day of! Media has agendas, I think its gross, all i want is consistency.

It sounds to me like Mollie Tibbetts would be very proud of her dad for speaking out against racism on her behalf. Kudos Ron!
-
It sounds to me like that entire family is thoroughly brainwashed from top to bottom. We'll help them and others, even if they don't think they need it.
-
You are living up to your name.
-
To be fair, If her father expressed his anger he would be hunted down by the same people who say let her rest in peace.

Mollie became all of ours when the family went public asking for help, information and prayers for hope. Sorry if now some of us are disgusted and angry to learn her killer should have never been here. We’re also mad when a suspended drunk kills, it’s about laws & breaking them
-
no she does not “become ours.” it’s disrespectful to use someone’s death as a point in your argument, especially when they did not agree with you. and even if they did, it is still rude to the family who obviously does not want to hear their daughter’s name used in such a way
-
We all know you would not say this about bringing up dead Parkland kids...
-
oh yea chief? you know my opinions on every matter from one tweet? i would say the same thing actually because my stance on gun control laws doesn’t come from people dying, it comes from common sense.
-
I don’t understand what is so offensive about discussing solutions to a problem that took someone’s life. What’s offensive to me are those like you who try to stifle discussion of ways to solve the problem
-
in no way am i stifling discussions. the problem can be discussed in a more abstract manner than her case. in fact, it must be discussed in a more abstract manner if any real solution will come from it. there is no need to bring her or her family into it to discuss the problem.

Too late dude. You were more than happy to use media attention from ALL sides to help in the search. And, you should have been. But you can't pivot to politics now. It doesn't work that way. You tugged the Natons heart strings and it's not over for the Nation - yet.
