The facts, which this headline badly misrepresents:
The GOP candidates discussed in this story all backed ACA repeal, including the ACA's #PreExistingConditions protections.
The new Senate GOP bill "protecting" PEC allows insurers to exclude them from coverage.

All true. Plus it makes a reference to "Florida" which means Rick Scott, but it completely fails to mention that Scott's administration is part of a lawsuit headed to court next week which LITERALLY SEEKS TO END PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS PROTECTIONS.

This is an absolute lie
-
Yes, it is. They want to go back to pre ACA regulations, which means all power to the insurer

Republicans depend on people not paying attention and CBS is helping them with misleading headlines. Their bill will give you insurance but exclude your preexisting conditions. What good is that?
@CBSNews, do better. - 1 more reply

This is a lie,
@CBSNews -
Yep. They have plans to destroy it totally after mid terms if they retain control.
-
They're trying to destroy these protections now, through other means.

This is a false story, CBS. There is an active lawsuit that my AG, Josh Hawley along with other republican states AGs are suing to TAKE AWAY preexisting conditions protections. This is journalistic malpractice.

Hey
@CBSNews, is this the same headline writer who pushed out Ted Cruz talking points on protests against police brutality? Because it sure seems like you are shilling for the GOP. This headline is simply a lie.https://twitter.com/CBSNews/status/1035437805147770880 …

This is completely false. There is one bill protecting
#PreExistingConditions:@TammyBaldwin's. The#GOP shell game says that insurers can do what they want. 131M Americans have a pre-existing condition. Try actual reporting instead of PR. It's not hard. - 1 more reply
