Uber driver should have called the police BEFORE pulling over and stayed on the phone with the dispatcher. When the truck driver was approaching he could have taken off. This gun shit is out of control.

And if the police would’ve came and shot the guy you would’ve been claiming police brutality. You can’t have it both ways.
-
Would totally depend on how police handled it. I have brothers who are police officers. They hate the gun culture because of how both officers and citizens are reacting to situations. Adrenaline can make everyone fo stupid stuff.
-
Since we don't see what happened when he approached the car how does anyone know shit. Did uber driver lock doors windows? Or did he get out ready to shoot? I think there is a lot of unanswered questions here.

Yes bullets do beat glass but, did the guy approaching the uber driver have a gun?

The Uber driver didn’thave to shoot him. He could’ve call the police, or even the sheriff.
-
There was clearly an immediate threat, what do you think law enforcement would have done for him when it would've taken them longer to get there than a Domino's Pizza?
-
That’s why they have sirens and horns. They could have sped faster to get to the Uber driver. Unless they were going past a Dunkin Donuts, they could’ve reached him. What evidence do police have that shows the driver’s life was in danger?
-
The fact that the guy was saying he had a gun and reach for his waistband, pointing his cellphone at him like a gun. There doesn't have to be a lot in the way of hard evidence, i.e. visible weapon; he felt threatened, and thus was justified. Hence the nomenclature of the law.
-
Whatever happened to rolling up the window, or just speeding off? That driver had plenty of non lethal options that he could’ve used to get away from his assailant. Even if he used his gun, why couldn’t he just wound him? He didn’t have to kill him.
-
Also for the record, he didn't kill him instantly. As it states in the article, he tried to revive him while he called police. It's not like he just unloaded on him remorselessly.

Depends. Did the other driver also have a weapon and threatened violence? If so then yes justified. If not... then what the hell?
-
It’s a threat when you pull over in front of someone, get out and approach your car. There’s no other reason you’ve done that except your going to come up and do something stupid. “Oh what if he just wants to yell?” Nope. Not taking the chance with y’all psychos out there.
-
Yeah sounds like after he ran him off the road he walked towards him pulling out his cellphone like a handgun. It was dark and he was shouting he had a pistol and reached towards his waistband...I would have shot him too
