bought damn time BUT do politicians really like to play dumb to real life issues until voting season comes and polls open up? Been 20+ years of it and now New York is on board. The whole U.S. system took too long it's not a question but a necessity at this point to pass the bill.

She hasn't. She said this from day one. The reason a state as blue as NY hasn't legalized is because Cuomo thinks it's a gateway drug. His crumbs for medical is crap. It's wrong that his opinion is more important than ours. He's always been wrong on this issue.

She’s been saying this since day one. Her and
@Ocasio2018 are the people we need to vote her this year. It’s wild that these are wild ideas to people. - 1 more reply

Medical Marijuana is a joke in NY. It's not available for ppl in pain & poor. In many cases in chronic pain. It's too expensive for most of us. Mostly for the rich or very well off. Cuomo thinks it a gateway drug. He will never legalize cause of what HE believes.
#NYGovDebate -
Probably more to do with pharma and alcohol donors. Follow the $$$$
-
Agreed. Following his money always leads to shady headlines. Commercials a few months ago repeated the medical marijuana was coming..Again. We know & waited for it to be available. Research was disappointing. Especially if ppl want off opiates. It's a cash business. Sadly.

Is it just me or she just outright didn't answer the question...
-
She did. At 1:26
-
She didn't actually answer the question in its full context. She said something vaguely that touched on the question. I don't think she really understood what the mod was asking. Just my opinion...
-
She made the point we are making it legal for adults not for children. I would add Colorado and other states who have legalized cannabis have seen teen use go down. When it’s legal and regulated it’s more difficult for kids to access it.
-
In CO with teen sons and 2 kids under 10 it is a weird experience treating it the same as alcohol b/c it was illegal growing up, but we speak of it the same. 21 is legal age. Period. Dispensaries are hard to get into. Most probably take it from their parents...just be a parent
