Here's the thing, acting is a JOB. Just because someone chooses to be an actress or actor, does not mean they are walking around faking life. This is real life. She has opinions, she's educated, she has a belief system, so give her a chance. She lives in this world too.

Just to add to that. Imagine if the right was like nah we can’t have Reagan or drumpf cause they actors/reality stars. Smfh. Meanwhile the left is like that’s a great actor but she was an actor so lemme get that republican that wears blue and acts like a donkey.
-
Yup. It's like they're opinions or thoughts should be discounted because they're actors. She makes sense. She's articulate and she gets it. Meanwhile, 45 opens his mouth, and the collective smart people sigh. We're all like WTEF? The nation of 5th graders are smarter.

Maybe the WH journalists should try this tactic!
-
But then they'd stop their cash cow. Mainstream media in the US got Trump elected. They want to milk this cash cow as long as they can. This is why other countries invest in state funded media so they wont be tempted to do stuff just to make money.
-
Good point! They have certainly benefited to the country’s detriment.

@CynthiaNixon is not qualified to run one of the populous states in the Nation. This isn’t Montana. NY is not for beginners. She should have run for the Assembly against one of the IDC Dems she can’t stop talking about. -
At least she is giving it a shot, standing up for what she believes in. How many of us can say we do that?
-
Then she should start small - mayor, Assembly, etc. I am not willing to sacrifice my state for her to “follow her beliefs” on a $170 billion budget for 20 million people with zero experience on how to do it.
@CynthiaNixon is the liberal Trump. -
And that is entirely your choice and your opinion.
-
I’m surprised Eeyore is your spirit animal. He is way to pragmatic to vote for an actress with no experience.
-
I like the personal attack on a response that accepted differing opinions and beliefs. Very mature. You, sir, are truly an intellectual among fools!
-
I did initially respond, but I find it much easier to block out the noise. My intention was not to offend, clearly that person had no better retort than to personally attack me on the basis of an assumption. I'm British and cannot vote for her even if I wanted to x
-
@CynthiaNixon well done for having the guts to stand up for what you believe in. Bravo

Wish the

Every time they LIE, which is ALL the time, interrupt them and request they stop lying and keep interrupting until they do.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Wish all you people who are against celebrities in politics would have felt this way in 2016 when the Tangerine Tyrant was running! Fun Fact: Ronald Reagan was also a movie star.
-
Al Franken was a comedian. Arnold Schwartznegger, governor CA. Jesse Ventura, governor of Minnesota. Clint Eastwood, Mayor of Carmel, CA. Sonny Bono, Mayor, then Congressman. Fred Thompson, Senator - TN. And 45.
-
And I don't see a single person in there I like.
