Sen. @JeffFlake on former U.S. presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush speaking at John McCain's funeral: "He was quick to forgive. Certainly put the good of the country above himself and the fact that his former opponents will be there speaking says all we need to know."pic.twitter.com/gGFN1xIiTU

There was nothing to forgive. McCain understood politics and knew that Obama was a good, decent, intelligent, respectful man. What will people say about you after your death? Will you be in the same league as McCain or Trump? Do the right thing for our country.

What better tribute to John McCain than to say that Jimmie Carter, George H Bush, Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Barack Obama would've been honored to have John McCain as their President.pic.twitter.com/wg4bcGfFzK

The greatest greatness of John Macain was his bravery to admit his own mistakes. In this era of leaders with super ego , it’s a rare charisma.

To have Obama in on this, this tells you how much hate McCain had for Trump.

#McCain had a lot of hate for Trump because he was a traitor that's why he was a Republican and he voted out on that bill at the last minute and put us all in disarray rangement so it is what it is just that McCain should have been a Democrat, he bad mouth the president everyday

It is sad that the graciousness that McCain and his opponents had is a thing of the past. Present times have turned us into an angry self centered mob that thinks the whole world exists to be a zero sum game. Somebody has to win, somebody has to lose. I didn't sign up for that.

He is hailed as a hero, not only because he was a soldier and pow but his bravery to stand up for great causes , reaching across the aisle for a greater good, and his humility to admit his own mistakes. The fact that one person exemplified all these qualities made him a HERO

Tragedy in middle east is the consequences of Iraq war. Gaddaffi and Saddam Hussein were the cruelest rulers of our time, But middle East was better of with them ruling when reasoning it retrospectively. McCain was only trying to prevent more casualties in Libya.

Gaddaffi was killing anyone who revolted against him. But eventually he was going to be defeated by the rebels. The revolution was huge then. But the revolution started because of the iraq war. So no Iraq war, no rebels, The problem now happening couldn’t have been foreseen then.

Please put aside all grudges and celebrate the life of Senator John Mcain who embraces his own mistakes and his greatest service to the country in one plate. He was a man with great reflection.
