There should be a special election. Let the people decide.

There could have been, if McCain had been honorable enough to resign.

Bots have no right to opine.

God, you're pedantic. What I said was factual. If McCain had any integrity and had resigned, Arizonans could've elected their choice of a replacement instead of having the decision made for them (which is very undemocratic, by the way)

Anyone saying it should be his wife needs their head checked. Pick someone the people want and hold a special election.
-
Article states how state law handles it. His seat will be open in the election in 2020. Gov appts successor in the interim
-
I know. I’m simply saying the people should have a say. Appointing his wife is ridiculous.
-
The people will get a say. In 2020. And one could argue that they already did as they voted for him & she is in lock step with him politically

Why does he have the right to appoint someone shouldn't it go to a vote i mean isn't that how our government is supposed to work
-
He is following the laws of Arizona.
-
That sucks it's supposed to be duly elected not duly appointed in this instance

While today is a day to honor and remember John McCain, I can think of no better person to honor him and his legacy than his wife of 38 years, Cindy McCain. I hope that she would be willing to serve and that Gov. Ducey would select her to serve until a special election in 2020.

Good thing you aren't paid to think. Stop with the attention hunt.

What a sad, pathetic tweet with no substance what-so-ever. Another prime example of an internet troll with no life or intelligent thoughts.
