"This is something anybody should have known, it's just common sense". Common sense would say that you break the damn window and not put the blame on someone else.

READ. THE. ARTICLE.

You don't wait 10 minutes while the baby is roasting because you don't want to break the window. You break it immediately.

"Guyton tried and failed to smash the car's front passenger window with a piece of asphalt. After 10 to 12 minutes, Guyton smashed the back windshield with her grandfather's window breaker, climbed in, and got Raina out on her own."

Don't you just love all the comments from people who only read headlines?

Yep! LOL

I'm not sure what her deal is, but if it were me I'd be looking for a rock or brick immediately to break a window and not worry about paying the deductible cost for a broken window. It's your baby lady! She didn't lock herself in the car!
-
Read the article. She tried. It didn't break. They called 911.
-
Try harder!

Break the fucking window! No need for drama!

Read. The. Story.

From the beginning i mean. Why waste time?? Unless she actually wanted her baby to die. Police and family members better keep an eye on the mother.
-
"Guyton tried and failed to smash the car's front passenger window with a piece of asphalt. Her grandmother called 911..." What part of that is not clear to you?
-
The part where a car window doesn’t break!
-
Who cares why she couldn't break it? She wasn't strong enough? The window glass had safety coating? The point is she tried couldn't do it and did the right thing by calling 911. They should have responded. Fortunately someone had an actual window breaker handy.
-
I just don’t buy it. Like I said, an eye should be kept on the mother.
-
Right. Because parents who want to kill their children normally dial 911 and beg for immediate help.

Stop with this nonsense. No way the police or fire fighters wouldn't respond to an emergency.
