Whatever. Parents were told the rule before school started. She showed up first day like this anyway. Don't like the rule send your kids to public school
-
Interesting. So, the rule was “no extensions”? I wonder if they had any African American women on the team who came up with that rule. I honestly don’t know how reasonable that is. I get having a strict dress code—like the boy the other day whose hair was supposed to above ears.
-
Girls play with each other's hair and they fall out and get left on the floor. It's gross. People need to stop buying them anyway. They get the hair off corpses and poor women in India who shave their heads and sell it for a few shackles

How far will they take this “natural hair only” policy? Would a student who lost their hair from cancer or alopecia get sent home for wearing a wig? Or is the policy strictly for black students? Either way, it was a poor decision that wasn’t thought through on the school’s part

I don't understand what the problem is. She looks well groomed. That's such an odd rule.

What a sad state of affairs when someone wants to go to school and is being disrupted because of a hair style. Her hair is nice and neat. What a way to go Christ the King Middle School in Gretna, La.
-
Is this a Christian school? If so, they missed the mark...

That Is a PRIVATE school. They can put any rules they want. Why you guys need to pull the race card every single time. If you don’t like their policies take her to a regular government school
-
I find it strange you or anyone would leave a comment like this. I wonder why.

It's such a ridiculous Rule and it's designed to single out people of color.

Such a dumb rule. It’s unnecessary and doesn’t “help” the educational environment.
