We have to work. If we dont, we are called takers because we need food stamps while baby-daddy is at the bar not paying his child support. Choices, not options.

Well you Republicans dont think abortion is an option. So, is baby-daddy gonna take the kid and raise it? That happens about once a decade. Men are the laziest creatures on earth!!

Maybe if people would stop shaming mothers for breastfeeding in public, they would do it a little longer.pic.twitter.com/bskJUoKmDF

Fed is best. Stop shaming mothers who have to quit breast feeding due to work, not producing enough milk, or if they are just tired of it.

Most mothers have to return to work, not many mothers are in an environment when they return to work where they can pump twice a day or more while away from baby. Maternity leave should be extended and paid.

I had to go back to work 4 weeks after I gave birth because I couldn't afford to stay home any longer. Maternity and parental leave paid. And some women just don't want to breastfeed. That's ok. Choices and options. That's what we want.

Maybe it's because they're shamed for breastfeeding everywhere they go.

well breastfeeding is a wildly stressful way to feed your baby when you're a working mum who has to go back to work asap bc no paid maternity leave and hello huge childcare costs but pile on that guilt CDC, ya useless shits
-
but god knows i miss those days when i had to hook my boobs up to a painful double pump every three hours or face crying hysterically because i didn't have enough bottled milk to last the next day. NO WAIT THAT WAS LITERAL HELL
-
(& by crying hysterically i don't mean the kid, although obviously of course the kid, bc it's always the kid, but i mean me crying hysterically. bc of the hell.)

Many factors play into this but something I find irksome is the false information pushed on to people about formula being just as good as breastmilk. I've seen multiple ads claiming this and even some claiming it's better. So having that option gives more mom's the ability
-
To justify to themselves it's okay to give up if it's too hard or demanding. Granted, society doesn't make it easy, but it CAN be done. But having the crutch of formula and this false sense of it being iust as good doesn't help.
