CBS: Let’s edit the 10 minute long video to only include the most inflammatory part. We’ll omit him punching a female officer in the face.

Show the whole video CBS, the guy throwing hands on 2 female cops and they couldn’t constrain him. But hey, let’s hate the cops.
-
He was outta control
-
Exactly. I hope now people understand why we call them the enemy of the people, because of sh** like that. They chose not to show the whole video for a reason.

Um no... Video appears to show Man beating Raleigh police officers.pic.twitter.com/rJ4loyBvpY
-
@redcap34 Here ya go -
Regardless of what he is accused of, once a person is subdued it is unlawful for cops to stomp and beat him.
-
It’s not unlawful for the police to detain someone using force if they are being attacked. However that’s besides my point, my issue is that CBS News should be showing the full video. It’s wrong for mainstream media to twist the story in order to cause others to be outraged.
-
Excessive force refers to situations where government officials legally entitled to use force exceed the minimum amount necessary to diffuse an incident or to protect themselves or others from harm. I agree full video should be shown but, it doesn't justify excessive force.
-
We will have to agree to disagree, in my opinion the officers used the necessary amount of force to detain the man. But neither one of us is in charge of determining that, so we will have to see this one out.
