In Barbados an island school kids get all meals free. In America you short 15 cents you get no meals. But it’s the greatest country in the world.

In many countries all students are feed breakfast, lunch and snacks for free. It's what we should be doing too. Just think how much better their health and grades would be. 🇺🇸

Did you know that many people of poor wealth live in what are called ”food deserts” and even if they can afford healthy food the produce available to them is rotten and not restocked. It’s cheaper and easier to buy unhealthy foods.

Yes, and this is a crying shame. It explains why so many people don't eat healthy foods. We need produce trucks to visit food deserts, like bakery trucks did decades ago. 😉

Sadly breakfast and lunch at school are the only meals that some children get to eat. All meals should be free regardless of the parents income.

This happened to my son in Kindergarten. They took away his meal, and threw it in the garbage. he thought he had done something wrong. They did that 3 days in a row before he broke down and confessed to me that he had been bad and they wouldn’t let him have regular food.
