I believe in the “stand your ground” law, but this was clearly a misguided individual who jumped at the chance to shoot someone. He should be charged.

He shoved him- to the ground even- that's at least an assault- and of course when being assaulted you fear for your life- that use of deadly force falls completely under this law!

Wasn’t he a big tough guy right before he got pushed? How is he then fearing for his life all of a sudden? Maybe the dude should of shot him first and claimed he feared for his and his families life.

The courts will decide. But the guy could have been killed or knocked unconscious from that push. Once on ground he sees the same man coming at him while down and another walking over to attack as well. Clear and cut SYG case in my book.
