The incompetence of the government and disrespect towards the people of Puerto Rico is disgusting and embarrassing. Shame on them all.

Puerto Rico’s corrupt Government and their mismanagement is why they they weren’t able to take full advantage of all of the aid sent to them, resulting in unnecessary death and suffering of the PR people. Their electrical grid contract alone was shameful!

At this point it would be fair to label the local government of Puerto Rico as completely incompetent. Seriously get it together

-
It’s mostly the National Guard’s fault actually.
-
It is the Puerto Rico National Guard. Same incompetence as the gov. Trust my son was a PRNG member and so was I.
-
Imagine if Congress made them a state when PR voted for it. Most of this wouldn’t have happened...
-
Congress wasn’t going to make them a state when only 23% of Puerto Rico’s population participated in that vote.
-
Oh, so then Trump shouldn't be President right? Only ~25% of the population voted for him...

The virtue signaling government of PR are corrupt and blocked ships from docking. Trump provided aid but PR wouldnt allow it because they wanted to make Trump look bad.
-
How sad for the citizens who went without food or water because of political games and negligence.

When donations and aid to Puerto Rico are found rotting in a parking lot, it tells us local authorities and FEMA were careless & sloppy. We don’t know how much aid was lost, but good planning and coordination are not that hard.
-
It was mostly the National Guard’s fault.
