It was dead long before that. "It's called the American Dream, folks. Because you gotta be asleep to believe it."

Honestly, the "American Dream" is nothing more than an ad campaign. It hasn't existed for decades and it never existed for many. #fraud

That’s how the national debt was run up by obama. Stock brokers were selling unsecured, mortgage loans, were they penny stocks?, the government stepped in and kept million of homeowners from losing their houses plus they were giving unemployment benefits for years to some people

The national debt wasn't run up by Obama. The majority of spending during BO's 2 terms was from previous Presidents.

Google the national debt and it will tell you what the national debt was for each president.

Obama inherited the bad policies from the previous 8 years, it just started showing financially once he took office.

The bad mortgage loans that banks and stock brokers were buying and trading is what caused the recession. The government kept millions from losing their houses plus they extended unemployment for years for some people, that ran up the national debt.

Extending unemployment cost money, but the government eventually made money from the bailouts. Obama's spending was pretty tame compared to previous Prez's and Trump. I think you could argue that the bailouts set had precedent and it was scandalous that nobody went to prison.

You mean the guy responsible for turning it around? Obama came into office in 2008. Subprime mortgages had been ramping up for years before that. Remember the housing bubble with prices shooting skyward? Oh wait...I'm using facts. Sorry. Go about your deluded life.

This is what happens when government over regulates and taxes are to high. This country could continue to prosper if,we paid our national debt, cut way back on social programs & trade schools with more apprentice programs. Keep lower taxes so people keep more of their money

intersections that are still way safer than a crossing someplace for the mass of humanity? Look closely and you will see profligate spending on countless luxuries and amenities many of us did not ask for want or need. There is a large part of the answer as to why money is so
