Her husband voted for trump, I want to feel bad for him, but I’ve exhausted all my empathy/sympathy.

Illegal is illegal. She had years to become a citizen, she chose to not do so. You dont get to use being married to a veteran as a way to dodge the fact that you are an illegal alien & could face deportation.

She had 20+ years to get a Green Card, but typically, these ppl are so darn arrogant, that they show up and act as if this is an episode of the Twilight Zone where they can live in suspended animation. Well, episode OVER.

My sentiments completely

Actually, he is retired military. Why not just go too? There many beautiful places in Mexico. No need to work, just kick it. Oh, and I believe it was because ahe lied on her application. But its nuts that he didn’t sponsor her.
-
Sadly most of trumpturd's supporters don't give a crap that naturalized immigrants have served or are willing to serve in the military and risk their lives for this great country!
-
This has absolutely nothing to do with that. This was a removal order from *2013*

Why mislead? Amazing they leave out the facts:She was caught attempting to illegally enter the US in 1998 & deported, she again illegally entered the US...ICE arrested her in August *2013* & she was informed the previous order for removal would be reinstated. She. Did. Not. Care.
-
There is more to this story, she didn't comply and check in which were the terms of her being allowed to stay.... though if her husband is naturalized and has served I don't know why she can't stay.
-
The first time she was caught illegally entering in 1998 she signed papers stating she could never become a citizen. She was deported. She was then caught back in the US in 2013 after sneaking in illegally again & an order for removal was issued. (In 2013)
-
Also during this time no attempts were made to gain citizenship AFAIK
-
Sad story, but she has herself to blame.
-
I agree. It is sad but we are a nation of laws and as someone whose family friend was murdered by an illegal I want to see those laws enforced.
-
I agree with you, and I'm so sorry about your friend.
-
Was a long time ago but thank you.
