Not Stand your ground when U plan 2 kill it's pre-meditated murder. Shooter had been there everyday harassing Black ppl about that spot & calling them "n word" trying 2 provoke. Natural instinct is 2 get up when knocked down & afraid, he sat there & drew his gun, no fear shown
-
That was cold blooded murder

Guy incited the whole incident. He’s not parking enforcement or the police has zero business to approach the vehicle parked illegally and harass woman then boyfriend steps in and he shoots him when he’s not attacking him. Clearly murder

I will never understand this. How can a person be an aggressor/instigator, Then claim the were 'feared for their life'?
-
What did he instigate? He chastised her for parking in a handicapped spot. Then he was assaulted. A decent person would have simply acknowledged their error without assaulting the guy. At the most, a discussion, not assault, was warranted.
-
So he’s justified to pull out a gun and shoot a guy because he was pushed?
-
You can argue he had the opportunity to stop once his assailant started to back up. But he’s absolutely justified in pulling his weapon to defend himself from his attacker, and his attacker continued to move forward until he drew. Don’t put your hands on people.

This is vile. You just gotta be scared in Florida and you can shoot someone. Does this also apply to women entering abortion clinics when they are approached by right-wing crazies? I am sure they feel unsafe around the anti-choice crowd.

Embarrassing. So I can pick a fight with someones wife and when her husband comes to defend her I can shot and kill him...as long as I'm white.
-
I dont think this is about race- I think this is about how f’d up Florida is.

The Sheriff doesn't have the last say. Hopefully the States Attorney isn't as racist.
