The one who used violence first was the one who got shot. Fair enough.

Watch the store's security cam footage & read about incident. After A pushed B, Bpulled gun, A started backing away but B still shot him. Florida's Stand Your Ground law is different than their self-defense law. Nothing fair here in bullet vs. bare hands. Repeal SYG, Now!

This is similar to Trayvon Martin case. Again an individual intervenes as if they are law enforcement, starts a conflict and then when it escalates, shoots and kills someone and claims self-defense. That is insane.

He is dead because an armed man played cop and things got out of hand. A man, who was defending his family, is dead because someone created a conflict unnecessarily, it was a parking spot. And the man would also likes be alive if the man who started the fight didn't have a gun.

-
Umm. That’s not how it works. Duh. And people have not been allowed to use it in the past as a defense
-

Which just proves what a dumb law this is. The man who was shot was just defending his gf from the shooter. Is Florida crazy?
-
I love Florida, but this kind of thing makes me think we should saw it off and shove it out to sea.
-
Rofl! That might be just a tiny bit harsh.

How come he didn’t feel threatened when he was berating the woman and children in the car? He was a tough guy then, but as soon as the guy went to protect the family now he’s fearing for his life? Wonder what the story would be if he shot first to protect his family.

Pointing the gun would've been enough to get the guy to back off. Carry laws take physical confrontations, that may have simply ended in a few bruises, and turns them into killings.
