She probably didn’t know if she never ate a nasty Reese’s before.

-
It says peanut butter cup on the cookie package.
-
Hers was already opened & peeled back I think. They set her ass up.

You gotta be smarter than that

This is so sad but you should always read the labels. I’m allergic to peanuts too. When it said her mouth started tingling I felt so bad because that’s what happens to me!
Rest her soul & God please comfort her poor mom.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

This literally could have been me... peanut allergies and all food allergies need to be taken seriously by food companies!
-
People with food allergies should read the packaging. It says Reeves peanut butter cups on the packaging. What else should the food company have done? BTW, I have food allergies.
-
This was the new product that looked very much like the old product. There should’ve been a larger more clear marking that it now contained peanut butter. By the way, I do read all labels however we all get comfortable with the product that we have eaten many times before.
-
The Reese’s Cup looked pretty clear to me. There are dozens of food allergies, do you expect the packaging to spell them all out on the graphics? There is such a thPlus if I were at someone else’s house, I’d be more careful about what I ate.
-
*there is such a thing as personal responsibility.
-
This child died! So your position is, it was her fault she ate a chocolate chip cookie, that looked EXACTLY like the peanut-free chocolate chip cookies she has eaten all her life and the manufacturer should do nothing different to decrease the risk that this could happen again.

Tragic story but the Reese’s logo is very clearly portrayed on the package.

Soo sad, maybe if the companies can start making the inside packaging a certain color to indicate danger for people with alergies this kind of tragedy can be avoided in the future.
-
There are many many types of food allergies. I personally read the ingredients before I buy.
-
There is just not enough preperation for young people
