When a young man's car broke down before his first day of work, he could have called out. Instead, he walked over a dozen miles to work and gained the attention of his company's CEO, who made sure he would never be without wheels again. https://cbsn.ws/2LmWtIt pic.twitter.com/xQjrH0vUi3

#randomactsofkindness .... ALL ABOARD !!! We need more CEO's & Companies in general to be more compassionate like this man is! If ONLY, we knew where you were all hiding to know to where to apply for a job. This act of kindness had to have made his heart grow 10 x's. 😂🤗😃💞

This isnt on tv because it doesnt sell. You cant start a protest or a boycott or get votes because of it. Eveeyone in this story acted with the utmost level of integrity and compassion, from the young man to the cops to the homeowner to the business owner. Great job!

Everyone did the right thing in this story. The young man stayed committed to his job, the Police didn’t make snap judgements against a black citizen, and the owner was truly generous. People helping people. Happens more often than you might believe!

Why did the police “pick him up”? Of course they made a snap judgement.

Stop race-baiting. Any cop is going to stop & question ANYONE walking down the road at 4am. It’s just not normal. Then they picked him up for a ride to breakfast. Uber, friends & coworkers pick up people every day.

And @dansanil the CEO is kind ... and smart- you can’t afford to loose ANYONE who is willing to walk 12 hours to work. That car was truly generous but the CEO also knows that this guy has something you can’t teach people - determination.
