I'm going to say this and some of you won't like it....but it's the TRUTH: I want everyone to notice how most of the Caucasian (white) people are talking around this discovery "I hope their remains can be respect fully laid to rest" "Maybe now they can rest in peace" "So sad"

They've already moved on. But most importantly, these are words to convince us "Black" people to move on. Or they speaking about these 100 black bodies as if they can now be apart of some great mystery....a good will quest of sorts: "Maybe their families can be found by DNA"
-
How many of the people with their soft words and motions of sympathy ask questions like: "Are any of the White men in my family responsible for these deaths?" "Who murdered these men?" "How many White people in this town knew?" All these questions come to for Black people.
-
NOT One! "black person" should be shocked by this! The question of WHO these discarded people were is important, but the questions that might save future lives should be "Who are we as white people?" "What does it mean to wear the title"White" with so much blood linked to it?"
-
You talk as if these "things" just happened on their own." You say "this is terrible; instead of saying "WE" have done terrible things to (Black) people." This didn't just happen. Radicalized injustice require hands& accomplices like Cops, Judges, Juries, Mayors...white citizens
-
There is NO justice in your "I'm sorry" I think many can feel that the people you have long brutalized, murdered and discarded are moving away from looking for White America to offer Justice.
-
Lastly I'll say this, You have sown injustice & death all over this land It's a very American thing to say "What goes around comes around" Yet, for some reason you never envision it coming around for your people. Well the

The next News special you watch on the

This is a law, they must do this under the Texas Health Code. All work will stop until every body is exhumed. They will also have to use ground penetrating radar to find any other remains. Texas government will make sure that these soul Rest in Peace.
-
Thank goodness. Hopefully their families can be found with dna testing or something. Even if not, at least these souls can rest, like you said.

I would tag the state representative and state senator in which this situation is unfolding. My state representative is very active on Twitter and I find that most are. If I knew which house and Senate district this was I would personally do it.
-
It's in Texas. Near Houston, I think, from other articles about it. I'm pretty sure they're aware, it's been in the news since April, if the other articles are any clue.
-
It's in Sugar Land, of Fort Bend County. Lemme see if I can find who represents that district... Hm. Unfortunately, Sugar Land seems to be part of three different districts in state government. There're 3 possible state senators, & 3 possible Reps. https://fyi.capitol.texas.gov/City.aspx
-
Not surprised. Sugar Land, in addition to being the home of Imperial Sugar, is also the home of the Central Unit, one of the oldest prisons in Texas.
-
Yeah, that's the impression I got.

This is, unfortunately, not shocking, the way blacks were treated back then, I am sure there are tons of grave sites yet to be discovered ! The shame of our nation continues today. So horribly sad...
-
Back then? Where have you been lately?
-
I added another response...messed up...sorry...yes it is STILL going on! God how we all wish it wasn’t so! My apologies...
-
You're okay, don't worry.
-
Thank you

I find it refreshing how little time you spend on Twitter.
