Peanut allergies have been greatly exaggerated in the last couple of decades. And it's mostly from a lack of exposure to peanuts at a young age. Now everyone else has to pay for it.

It's so stupid. No one had this shit just a few decades ago.

I know: if you have a peanut allergy, don’t take and/or eat the peanuts. End of story. Not that difficult. My goodness people.
@SouthwestAir -
What about for the ones that have it Airborne? How about them ? When u have kids that can die because of peanuts you will understand. Besides if I report a peanut allergy on the plane they don’t serve it. SMH

umm, the deal is the allergies. they can kill ppl.
-
Don't eat them if you're allergic?
-
Not that simple. Exposure to one, even the residue can cause one to have terrible allergic reaction. People who are allergic obviously know not to eat them. The concern is about being surrounded by them and you know the possibility of dying
-
Then you better wear a mask cause people can board with peanuts and not comply with this rule and if we're gonna start banning things because of allergies then dogs won't be able to fly soon either
-
OCD much?

Hi CheapMoo -
@SouthwestAir - you are cutting cost for not serving snacks on your flights .. so you come up with a dumb scheme about passenger allergies .. I fly@JetBlue - Best customer service, you have a snack and they have a wonderful staff! -
Don't worry, Shyam. We're still serving plenty of free snacks, just not peanuts. Come check them out sometime! -Steven

It’s a peanut. You can go a couple of hours without a peanut. Epi pens don’t always work. You’d feel differently if it were your child. Mine was diagnosed at 7 months so spare me with the “lack of exposure” position.
