Maybe now we can find out, what they were doing down there, in the first place?
-
They usually hike there without any issue. It’s a recreation place for kids in the country. This time they went in to celebrate one of the kids birthday. This year the rain came earlier than expected so the water got in while they were in there.
-
As fun as it looks, when it works out, they need a new recreational event
If there was ever a close call this was it. Thankfully selfless professionals stood up and did the right thing. Scary for the kids and am sure their Parents lost some sleep over this.

The courage of these kids is outstanding. Proof children are often braver, calmer and stronger than adults give them credit for. What a wonderful result!

It is Amazing!! Kudos to the Thai Govt for putting their hand up early and asking for assistance. They certainly got the best of the best answer the call.

Anyone know "How the hell did they get down there in the first place?" I looked but couldn't find the reason.

Wow. Blown away they even found the kids and their coach.
-
Agreed - to me that’s the most amazing part of this. What made the original rescue team continue for 2+ miles along this one route, in and out of deep water, to locate them in that spot ??

I love diving but that scares the daylights out of me
Those divers are all heroes in my book, I hope something great is in store for all of them
-
Cave diving is one of the most dangerous activities in the world.
-
Yes, only for the brave and that's not me

-
It's training, not bravery

-
It takes a whole lot of bravery to go underwater through narrow passages no amount of training is gonna keep one from being scared
