I would have no problem if trophy hunters suddenly met their demise any way possible. The real problem are the greedy countries that allow their animal life to be killed as a revenue source.

No, the problem, as with all bad things, is the demand. Not the poor countries who need money anyway they can get it. No hunters = no hunting = no dead beautiful & rare animals.
-
Actually I feel its a combination of both, these countries could ban the hunting of these animals, but because it brings in large amounts of money they allow it. Your not going to stop the people from wanting to hunt, but you can take away the source

Lion recently killed by
#TrophyHunter#SouthAfrica For $75,000 “SKYE” He was truly magnificent, brought in tons of tourism, fathered strong Families, etc. WORTH MORE ALIVE but there’s lot of evil people in#SouthAfrica and some#Chinese also involved in SA, also cruel to#Animals -
There is alot of evil people on almost every continent. We will never be able to stop them, all we can do is make it difficult for them to kill innocent animals. If governments would start putting bans on importing and exporting anything to do with these animals it would help.

Exactly the biologist and other specific species experts all agree between trophy n poaching ( Asians want bones various organs) they’re driving too many species towards extinction. Take $ away from poachers like let b okay to sell harvested rhino horns which SA courts did.

I totally understand why some people like to shoot animals. Personally, I much prefer a telephoto lens to a telescopic sight. The animals are so much more interesting when they're left alive.
-
I've thought about this often. That those looking through a lense and those looking through a sight have the same initial thought, "beautiful creature" and one then takes a picture of it and one kills it. I won't ever understand people that kill what they view as beautiful

Some maybe but I know plenty of hunters that see them as beautiful. Beautiful enough to put on their wall.
