I’m a USA citizen and have been here for 32 years. I can’t imagine breaking any laws where it will hurt my family or my career. This is the best country if you comply. Ever think maybe the laws this country has in place what makes it the BEST and that is the reasons we 1/2

2/2 Want to come here?? If it didn’t have strict laws this country would be another Mexico or India or Syria Etc. In 30 plus years never have had any problems with law or any other way. It’s a privilege to be Living in The United States of America.

As if any of us came here legally? Have you heard of Native Americans and the destruction by illegal Europeans?pic.twitter.com/QbpwHeHRIW

You missed the point...
-
Actually you’ve missed the point here. We can take strict measures to regulate illegal immigration without separating families by thousands of miles for weeks at a time. That is unnecessary and immoral. If you can’t see that, you are unsympathetic and cruel. Show some compassion
-
Why should I show any compassion?? I came here legally, I paid my way, I went to school, I followed all laws and regulations.. I pay my taxes. I worked 2 jobs to get where I am today. I have compassion for those who came here and made something of themselves, not for the swimmers

You mean like Melania did? Or her parents?

Or Ivanka’s mother?

What I don't get is if I break the law in USA I am separated from my kids.....if they break the law they have to be kept together......so you treat illegal immigrants with more leniency than AMERICAN CITIZENS
-
Crossing the border not at a port of entry is a misdemeanor. You wouldn’t get your kids taken away for jay walking. Requesting asylum is not illegal. They are entitled to a fair trial (due process).pic.twitter.com/NKcQ1kTbKv
-
Yes all asylum rules are the same but there is an expectation that you apply in 1st port of safety not travelling through other safe havens to get to the most advantageous one.....
-
Misdemeanor is the key word. What misdemeanor are Americans getting their kids removed for? All law breaking is not the same, it’s why we have different classifications.
-
Do it twice it is a felony
-
Except in this case it was their first offense and the father transporting the daughter was only charged with a misdemeanor. The mother had already been granted temporary asylum pending a hearing. Why separate?https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/after-being-separated-from-daughter-at-border-mom-warns-illegal-immigrants-to-find-another-country/ …
-
So she issued the warning maybe......keep giving them what they want they keep coming still bet you don't live 1 mile from the border as I do.....probably on the EAST COAST
-
Then there are US citizens making money to hide them!
