"Once my family was taken, I became fully aware that my community matters less to some people. That we are treated differently because of the color of our skin or where our parents were born," Diane Guerrero tells crowd https://cbsn.ws/2KAN0wM pic.twitter.com/a2ROWYwOmK

She is right! It’s not the children’s fault they had bad parents. As soon as we build the wall we won’t have this problem!!

Maybe we should start building homes for prisoners so their families won't be separated while in prison, or letting all military personnel stay home so their families are not separated, these people below will never have that chance.pic.twitter.com/NyVgVdZ2Y3

Fabulous speech from what I've seen. Well done to Diane and others for speaking out, sharing their pain. Only those lacking in empathy (and therefore psychopaths) will fail to be moved by her speech, regardless of their beliefs.

Too bad the parents were psychopaths. We are not responsible for the world’s mental health.
-
The parents aren’t psychopaths, they are trying to get away from war, oppression, starvation and death squads from drug lords. It is called asylum. You, on the other hand may be a psychopath if you really believe what ICE and Sessions, Nielsen, and tRump are doing.

Out of 12,000 border kids, only 2,000 have come with a parent. 80% of the women and little girls are raped along the way. Even parents have trafficked children to pay for their travel. Even Small babies have been found with traffickers.https://twitter.com/charliekirk11/status/1010991686208507904 …

Questions: How come the State doesn't hold blame when a US citizen breaks the law and loses their children but if they're not a citizen then it's the fault of the State?
Why does this group get absolved of their choice while other groups don't? - 1 more reply

The US is not the care taker of the world. Her parents are the ones who got her separated....A country has laws,,,,,

What a good little German you are.

Says the guy who looks like he keeps a lollipop in one pocket, and a rag doused in chloroform in the other. See, I can judge people without knowing them too. It’s not a good way to do things though

Not a bad comeback, but I’m afraid I’m a little old for you. I hit puberty a long time ago, sorry
