I am a Conservative but not a fanatic. We have to hope that he will put the Constitution first and leave the Liberal/Conservative tags outside the court. But any justification for overturning Roe v Wade would have terrible consequences for the mental & physical effect on women.

The whole idea, since Reagan, was to shift the middle; like tectonic plates, unnoticed until the earthquake shakes your world.

He's a lot more centrist than a lot of people think. He's bringing SCOTUS back to how it was, with the CJ being the swing vote. W got it right with that pick. He may go down as one of the greatest CJ's ever.

A nuanced perspective.Roberts is also the Justice most likely to favour sending contentious cases back to lower courts for adjudication. He rejects the notion of the Federal Bench playing King Solomon & instead reserves it stricly for nuanced disagreements on interpretation of law

In the history of the supreme court, from the Gorsuch appointment on there will be an asterisk. * Similar to baseball's steroid era, the conservative era will disgrace all former court justices' legacy.

There was always an asterisk next to Kennedy’s appointment because of Bork. Nobody really cared.

Once the GOP did not allow Judge Garland to be voted on & didn't allow Obama to fulfill his constitutional right to select Scalia's replacement, the Supreme Court became compromised. Terrible time in US history.

You need to run stories about why a President under investigation gets to elect a scotus. It’s never been done in history.

Please, dont insult us with the pretense he is in the “middle” and thus a moderate. Kagan, Sotomayor and Breyer are the moderates. Roberts is not even close. Rather this shows how extreme the court now is. And it will soon be worse.
