Socialism/communism doesn't work, says anyone who has ever lived it. @NancyPelosi is old enough to remember people trying to escape the Berlin wall and sports figures coming to US to defect....Teach history, don't erase it.

Here’s a list Ocasio-Cortez’s policy positions - these are good for Americans!pic.twitter.com/aDhPKDXN2d

They all sound good on paper. We tried for all this in 1970's....This is not the first rodeo. I started as a Democrat. Then the weak leadership, over regulation, over taxation, drop kicked the economy...Into the toilet. Stop trolling. All of you have less than a 100 followers,

Tax rates are as low as they’ve ever been, and the most recent tax cut resulted in another giant transfer of wealth from citizens to companies and shareholders. These proposals can be paid for by requiring ultra-rich individuals to pay their fair share.
-
As it is today companies are sucking every penny they can from ordinary citizens and not distributing it back into the economy. Requiring them to stop taking advantage of everyone would put money back into our pockets which will provide a boost to the economy.

Mart who are you to argue with a reiki practitioner. Have you recieved your healing transmission?

@NancyPelosi Socialized medicine is fine for members of Congress and the US military, but not us regular folks. Is that it? -
Pretty much. As MLK said, there's socialism for the rich & rugged individualism for the poor.

It's a ridiculous conversation to be having. Neither Democratic Socialists nor Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are talking about hardcore, government owns all the businesses, type socialism. They are talking about how being one of the wealthiest nation's on the planet should mean ...1/
-
that people shouldn't die simply because they are poor, that everyone should have the healthcare, food & shelter they need, that corporations shouldn't get breaks at the expense of the poor and middle class or control the political process through campaign contributions 2/
-
How are these bad things? The panic and hyperventilating needs to stop and
@TheDemocrats need to focus on how to provide a more just and fair society. 3/end -
They aren't concerned with a more just and fair society. We say people shouldn't die because they can't pay their medical bills and they make small steps, but make the insurance we couldn't afford mandatory. We say college should be free, they say "what of its just cheaper?" 1/2
-
We say "we aren't making enough to live, we need a better wage," they tell us that's too much and that they will only fight for a lower amount. We say get corporate money out of politics, they clutch their purses tight and say no.
-
I’d say this is their chance to prove those thoughts wrong and they are not doing it acting like this. Forget Russia and sexism against Hillary, the tone def nature of the party PLAYED A MASSIVE ROLE IN THEIR LOSS! people forget they abandoned obama when he got too liberal..1/2
-
The results of that? 6 of his 8 years he had a republican majority.. the ACA became a shell of what it should have been and so much other progress didn’t happen. IMHO
-
To me, the ACA should have been a good start, but Dems want to act like that fight is done and won. Now of course we have to defend it, but we should have already had so much more.
