Humm. No. As a parent of two well adjusted young adults, I can think of numerous times when my wife and I explained a situation where someone was in need to them during their time growing up. They understood and wanted to help. Give kids credit.

Oy. Is this 6-yr old in trouble. He wasn't registered as a charity, so all $13K gets attributed to him as income. He can give it all away, but he won't get credit for all of it on his taxes. His cost-of-goods sold are minimal. The kid made a lot of bad business & tax decisions.
