As many scientific articles and papers she was part of and as much contribution to science she added, I think she is worth being honored as a professor Koko the least for her legacy.

I think that’s amazing. Sign language, although GREAT for humans, is not gorilla language... perhaps it caused ‘stress’? 46years? Only? I’ve seen birds pull feathers out, from learning/talking too much English language. Poor gorrilla
