A nearly 8-minute audio recording obtained by ProPublica purportedly reveals children crying out inside a detention facility. Attorney Jennifer Harbury received the audio from a client. You haven’t been able to authenticate it, but you’re reporting on it right now? Let’s clarify: you’re so desperate to report something negative, you’re willing to risk any remnant of professionalism you have left. This is absurd. #fakenews

Then why are you reporting as if it's fact if you can't verify the credibility? Why is AP? It political propaganda and disinformation. Prove to me it was taken in the USA or taken at the boarder. Or if this even has to do with illegal immigration.

You do understand that the us government is restricting reporters access to these centers right, and for the staged and limited access granted recording equipment is not allowed.

We are told that’s for privacy laws/reasons. That doesn’t excuse running with audio without confirming the source. Journalists used to do that in this country.
