An officer doing his job! In my opinion the perpetrator and his girl friend are the ones doing the harassing and should be liable for such harassment on top of any outstanding warrants!
-
What job, did he ask u if u have a warrant...as a police officer he had no cause, simple as that.... text book harassment

Did he shoplift? If so, isn't the officer justified? Isn't this just good police work?
-
He didn't shoplift, maybe u should watch the video.....police have no right to just ask if u have a warrant....too many misinformed people, that's the problem

Why are you reporting this without also stating the man WAS arrested for the prior incident? Shame on you for trying to slander this officer. Stop pushing your agenda. While you’re at it, remove the officers surrounding your studios.
-
Did you read the article? They said "Court documents said Holt has a July trial scheduled over a theft report J.C. Penney filed. "
-
That’s what I’m referring to.
-
So they did report it...
-
It’s a useless story, trying to create a racial bias. The cop stopped a man that he recognized, from a crime the man was arrested for. And this is harassment? CBS only mentioned half the story on purpose. It’s shameful.
-
I mean there is no mention of race in the headline and the article is pretty straightforward in being honest about prior engagement. Unless you want the entire article in the headline not sure what more you’d ask for.
-
Ok, I’ll ask you this, what’s the pt of the article in the first place?
-
It was a response to a viral video seen by millions that actually made the officer look like he was harassing the young man. In all honesty it helped the officer’s credibility as I saw the video before reading the article and now I understand why he was questioning the young man

Did he do ANYTHING in that store on that date. It’s not against the law to have a court date- it’s not against the law to shop while awaiting trial- what was the reason for the stop
HARASSMENT
