If the security personnel was following normal procedure (as how she was trained),then why shouldn’t she or he do their jobs? What if something bad should happen aboard the plain on land, air or sea? Then blames would be going out. In the 70s they used babies’ pampers to carry...

This is sad. When I recently traveled with my mom when she was in a wheelchair (Austin and Portland airports) TSA was nothing but very nice, accommodating, and kind. I guess it's all in who you get, how they were trained for the job & whether or not that person is an ass always.

The minute you exclude any class/category of passenger, you introduce a failsafe security beach and render all other security measures pointless. Show respect, return respect and stay united in our character and resolve.

I firmly believe TSA intentionally hires angry people who hate their lives and take their anger out on passengers by deliberately destroying/stealing personal property & abusing passengers, both verbally & physically, at checkpoints.

I #SUPPORT the #TSA in their personal search if it is standard procedure. What is too young or too old for a #Terroirist? YES - it's awful & Uncomfortable - BUT- better safe than sorry! It is just the way it is, and if you DON'T want to do it - then DON'T FLY!! It's that easy!

Remember that these things need to be done to make sure all safe. God forbid someone sneaks something on plane in wheelchair and we are supposed to not worry. TSA Agent was very respectful. Everyone who flys can be searched and should be.

I agree with Al. If the lady hadn’t of been searched then we wouldn’t know if someone put something on her or hiding something so they can get away with it bcs they think TSA won’t search her. Better safe than sorry

Terrorists have used women, children, and even mentally ill as suicide bombers. As soon as they identify a vulnerability in our security they will use it. Sorry, but this situation only lets them know that all are susceptible to search.
