CBS news is obviously against Trump. They are very biased and it shows when talking about “integrity” of the presidential office. Actions by Obama and Clinton are ignored. #getbacktofacts

If the president has the absolute right to pardon himself, why didn’t Nixon? Short answer: despite Nixon’s flaws, he still had some honor & respect for the office of the Presidency. Trump has zero respect for any of it. #TrumpCrimeFamily

He doesn't. And they do. Now they're trying to put out the 2nd part of the tax scam with political cover. They rolled on the Eagles and rolled out Newt. #Focus on the tax law language and vote. The GOP is quiet about all of this because they need his distractions to fleece us.

So happy to find an American President is above the laws the rest of us have to follow. If that's the case we need to rewrite some laws. Why didn't Nixon pardon himself and stay in office?

A president can't be impeached for an "absolute right". If he can be, or is impeached, for pardoning himself, he therefore does not have the right.

I haven't gone to law school and yet I know, you cannot make use of a law that makes the law itself nonsensical! To use his power to pardon himself does just that! So no, he can't!
