Also, most of the tourism is on other islands (Kaua'i, O'ahu, and Mau'i), which are hundreds of miles if not more from Kilauea, and are perfectly safe. I am more concerned about the well-being of the former residents of the estates around the volcano who have lost everything.

this volcano has been spewing lava since 1989 and it has not slowed down.The lava is going in the ocean likes it's suppose to.This is how we got the Hawaiian islands all from volcanos.The big island keeps growing
