@CBSDenver will you please verify his citizenship?

Would this be the first and only question you'd be asking if it was a white guy?
-
It's a free country, anyone can ask questions. If you don't like it, move on.
-
The news is saying his age, name, residence, his type of drivers license, and the charges against him. I think asking about his citizenship is a valid question. Idc if he is white black yellow or green - it is a matter of citizenship not race.
-
He's from Houston, where I live. We have a very large population of foreigners who entered illegally.

If this is his booking photo, he doesn't seem to shocked or disturbed by the accident. In fact, he seems to be wearing a smirk on his face.

Wait a minute... $10K to the first answer to 'what is the reasonable question one should ask' with this news?
-
Is he an illegal immigrant?
-
Ding! Ding!
-
That picture isn't dated, doubt it is from within the last 24 hrs. Which means he has a previous criminal record. Cant have a commerical drivers license with a felony... sooo what is going on

I do not believe his breaks gave out, truck drivers should not be allowed to drive over 55 mph and I thought it was.the law because they are far more dangerous than a car. Why didn't he take the off ramp if his breaks gave out. He wasn't paying attention maybe on the phone.
-
If you have seen the original video he was in the emergency lane atleast 10-15 seconds before the crash with smoking pouring out from under his vehicle, the brakes. Either a malfunction or his brakes had been burned from the hill and thats why his speed had built up.

I cannot wait to ban humans from driving. They are emotional, stupid, aggressive, idiots who shouldn't be allowed to drive cars, let alone large trucks.

Truck driver friend said she always drives very slow their because of the hill, or you will get hot brakes.
-
I believe the truck speed limit all the way down that stretch is 45mph for loaded trucks. That's supposed to prevent things like this in conjunction with proper jake brake usage and basic engine braking.
-
Yes seeing the video of his truck going down the mountain he was already having problems, even passed a runaway truck ramp for trucks who have lost brakes. Did he not know how to use it? It will be interesting to see the final outcome, such a a Horrific accident.
