Separate them from the kid, Charge them with felony child endangerment/abuse, leverage their kid for guilty pleas, give them a criminal record (to remove any legal immigration route in), their kid, and a busride back to MX. Nicer than watching & allowing them to drown their kid

All the media will show are the instances in which CBP was unable to rescue. Really sad, CBP performs rescues every day
