A depressing thread. This is something that every lawyer could do something to change. Ours is a self-regulating profession. There is no reason to just accept that state bars will not impose discipline for serious misconduct by prosecutors. It is effective when you’re literally tweeting about the State Bar of Ca and the complaints Bazelon filed against CA prosecutors. Also, you guys confuse immunity, which is a civil issue with State Bar’s ability to discipline an Atty. The immunity doesn’t apply there.

Glad to see you deleted the "I don't see you tweeting about North Carolina" tweet. Because it was not only silly, but also wrong. And I understand how immunity works--no need to explain it to me, especially since I am tweeting about professional discipline, not civil liability
