The Georgia House just passed legislation that would not only make it more difficult to vote, but also makes it a crime to give food or water to anyone standing in line to vote.
The idea that this should be a crime is completely outrageous.

This guy could be arrested under the bill that GOP lawmakers in the Georgia House just passed.

The people in line shared snacks and water. One guy is even had folks hold his spot so that he could go pick up pizzas for the group.
That’s a nice show of community solidarity.
But it shouldn’t be necessary so that citizens can cast a vote.

There's no "election security" argument for this folks. Just overcriminalization and trying to keep people from voting.

Are they trying to pass a pizza harvesting law?

No one should have to wait hours to vote. Now people can't even help one another be comfortable while in long lines? What's next? Banning bathroom breaks? Making it illegal to help people who faint in the heat?
