A stretch of Highway 40 in Repentigny is closed after the back of a semi-trailer truck carrying canola seed slammed into a pedestrian overpass.

That’s definetly canola meal not seed. Canola seed is like tiny black ball bearings. Explosion would have be black.

Thanks Kyle! We had said canola as that was what was originally reported by the Transport Ministry but many informed folks have been educating us on grain today. We're learning!
