A protester got in my face because even though we were clearly journalists & keeping our distance, they didn’t like that we weren’t fully branded as CBC. Media colleagues across the country are facing harassment & intimidation— including in Winnipeg: cbc.ca/amp/1.6343672

This is a sad day for me. @ctvedmonton has made the decision to remove the branding from our vehicles for safety. I am proud of the excellent and vital work we do, perhaps more important now than ever. I’m proud to represent that in public, but it’s just not safe right now #yeg

Convoy protest in #Winnipeg. One protestor I spoke to says they’re determined to stay here until mandates are lifted, has been sleeping in his truck for 3 nights. Lots of horns. Traffic is slowed for a few blocks infront of the legislature.
