When will we realise that misogyny and violence against women is often a catalyst for further acts of mass violence

wonder where that leaves all the racist conspiracy theorists baying for blood

Yeh I’m waiting to hear from them too. Awfully silent after yesterday’s tirade don’t u think?

-
Still seeing them since the suspect is from another nationality, sadly. And Armenians are usually the nicest people you can meet. This attack had nothing to do with Armenia but all to do with sexism

He's Canadian. He grew up in Canadian suburbia. Everyone in Canada, especially Toronto has a last name from somewhere. It doesn't get any more Canadiana than that unless he had a Timmy's in his cup holder.
-
I agree with you. My friend from chili who came to Quebec at 6 is way more of a quebecker than I am. My dad was born in Canada and my mom who came from egypt when she was going to university is way more Canadian than him. Was commenting on the racists

If the Canadian government implemented a state distributed girlfriend program I GUARANTEE these attacks would stop.
-
This isn’t really something to joke about...Not being able to keep a girlfriend shouldn’t warrant murders and injury to people, don’t you think?
-
Don't talk like you understand how incels feel. I am no longer one, but I am intelligent enough to have sympathy for them. Society treats single men like trash and it needs to stop. The people in power, women, can change this but they refuse to. Blood is on their hands.

this is,,,, one of the worst, most incorrect tweets i’ve ever seen lmao
-
women can and should be able to do whatever the fuck they want. no one is required to have sex with anyone.
-
men and their fragile egos are to blame here. blaming women is blatant misogyny.

listen daniel women (or anyone, for that matter) aren’t required to give people attention, and attacking people for not giving you attention is far from okay lmao

White misogynist kills 10, injures 15. Gets arrested without violence. Great, I’m not seeing any global pattern here.
-
The discipline shown by the Toronto Police Officer wasn't because of race, it was because of the country we live in (not being gun crazed).
-
The fact that Canada has less of a gun control problem does not negate the fact that police in Canada also have issues with racial bias.

I personally don’t believe we need to thank the cops for doing their jobs the way they are supposed to. ESPECIALLY when it concerns demographics that they already treat way more delicately than people of color.

I think you and I are coming from fundamentally similar places, but disagree on the types of accountability that help to affect change in those systems. Which is totally fair, and I can see the reasons behind your approach.
