  5. Saskatchewan is reporting 476 new COVID-19 cases, the 5th time in a week the number has been above 400. It's also the 2nd-highest number of the pandemic (the record, set yesterday, is 506). The 7-day average is up to 416, compared to 364 a week ago.

    63 new cases today. The largest single-day report to date. "We are now on a trajectory for 100 new cases a day, every day" says Dr. Jennifer Russell. There are 293 active cases in the province currently.

  10. Manitoba is reporting 2 additional COVID-19 deaths and 49 new cases. Health authorities say more than 80% of the new cases are in people that were not fully vaccinated. The province's 7-day new case average is now 60, compared to 41 a week ago.
